Why would one post, on medium:
I will never again devote my energies to building up an audience on a platform whose management can sever my relationship to that audience at will

But yeah. I bet he posts on his own site too though. That's the solution.
And speaking of Bluesky why hasn't he landed on Nostr.

Its an interesting question: do stackers come to SN to build an audience?
My sensation is that very few stackers are trying to build an audience and that the focus is more on interaction and sats.

Personally, no. I'm just here cuz y'all need more grumpy people around.

Grumpy optimism is an art.

Forums in general seem to push people away from building audiences -- maybe because identity is not as important as content on forums (is this true? I think it is, also it's not my idea).

Not sure if I agree with that as a blanket principle. I've seen quite the audience / faction building on forums and subreddits in the past, sometimes by sociopaths and often ending in tears. It's probably easier to do on an IRC channel or nowadays on X, a discord or telegram group though, so maybe it would be fair to say "there are better places for this than fora"?
Not so much an antidote, as underoptimized for it?

I’m just here because this is the only bitcoin ‘community’ I’ve found that puts actions above words… and actually spends Bitcoin.

It's the same on SN, but then, how many people post that statement here? Also, I think I once heard something from someone about maybe/hopefully being able to have a decentralized backend in the future.
I bet he posts on his own site too though. .. Yep. He does
Yes, but a medium ban would still do damage in terms of loss of reach. Wasn't it Arthur Hayes that got booted off Medium for using savage-ish nicknames for some politicians and other non-conforming shitcoinery things, moved to Substack, posted a link there on Twitter and then got deboosted by the algo because Elon had beef with that? Link rot is real.

Medium sucks. SN is great. It would suck to lose you people on Medium I guess.
