Yes it is possible. On https://lightningaddress.com you can find the documentation how to run your own LN address server linked to your own node. But I suggest to not use that for public donations or public stuff, if you want to keep that node private. If that node you use it for public stuff, then is OK. Just be aware.
You can also run a LNBits with that node and have as many LN addresses you want, for as many domains you want.
Thank you dude, I had already tried with a bridge server without luck.
But I tried again today and dig a bit more and it turned out that the issue was about the macaroon thing that I did wrong before. It's all good now I have my own LNadress.
Yep I'll keep it for my friends and will display the custodial ones for tipping online.
Does it not complicate things if my LNBits instance runs on Umbrel behind Tor ? Will dig again here too lol
