Yeah. I'm unimpressed.
Interesting trade for both sides here. I know McNeil isn't an allstar anymore but one would think he is the type of guy a competitive team like the Mets would like to keep. I don't know why the A's would want him. I think they are improving but I don't expect them to compete for another couple years.
I could see him helping them as a veteran to keep around some of the younger players they're developing (of course, that kind of leadership would also go a long way on the Mets).
What are the Mets even doing?
