I believe the more people ask if they can pay with bitcoin, the more likely an owner will become interested.

Even if they only start to find out what this bitcoin thing is, because they keep seeing social proof of others using or wanting to use it, that is a win.

To me, the first and most important step is for a non-bitcoiner to realize that bitcoin can be and is used as money in some places. Not just as collectible digital trinket.
