pull down to refresh

I didn't realize when I wrote the previous post #1365679 that this wasn't new, that the original proponents of this theory had been talking about it for months. It was kind of on the periphery of things, I heard mention of it, but there's only so much I can absorb at a time, and I didn't dive in earlier.

Last night I got into it a little further. Just to summarize, people who were watching the many videos on the assassination noticed some odd things

  • The blood on the neck showed up .43 seconds AFTER the original impact to the chest. That's not possible with a bullet of the type that was supposed to have been used, it would have destroyed the neck and caused a "red haze" immediately.
  • There were some items (CK's necklace, and mic cord) that flew UP, in a direction directly away from the mic on CK's chest
  • Tracking CK's shirt, it balloon up, half covering his face, just in the direction away from the mic.
  • People that are looking at the videos very carefully say that the neck wound is actually from a fragment of the mic, and that the fragment is somewhat visible. I didn't look at it carefully enough.
  • Candace Owens published some photos from the car, just after CK was removed from it. There's pieces in there of what looks like plastic fragments, and the broken mic
  • the security team, carrying his body, ran right by a medic van equipped with everything necessary to help CK. This says they're more concerned with covering up the body, so nobody could notice that it wasn't a bullet would, than they are with helping CK.

Most of this research was done by Jon Aaron Bray, who's on X (https://x.com/jonaaronbray)

This is a high-quality slow motion breakdown Here's a video showing the necklace flying up over his head. That wouldn't make sense unless the energy came from the mic on his chest.

Also this is about the security team running by the medics:

I have reached a personal peak Charlie Kirk point. I can't listen to any more theories. This doesn't mean I believe the official narrative. I'm sure Israel killed him, but this is exhausting.

reply

Yes, exhausting and time-consuming both. And a little isolating, I'd like to be able to talk to people about it.

I can't stop though. It feels too important.

I wonder what the "official history" will be of this incident, 20 years into the future. This still seems like a fringe theory - not in terms of how valid it is, but in terms of how much "official" content is on the Tyler Robinson theory.

It feels too important.

"why is it important TO YOU, RIGHT NOW?"

this is a question I have been asking myself about similar things, in an effort to find time cycles spent on problems outside the scope of my ability to solve

reply

I don't know, something in me that wants to know the deep truth, the hidden truth.

It's been extremely valuable to me, specifically with learning about Bitcoin and carnivore.

But yes, the personal benefit to me of this obsession is less clear.

Off the top of my head - lies exposed, less chance of war.

I have a friend from a local bitcoin meetup who says he can't think about bitcoin anymore. The Charlie Kirk thing takes up all his free brain space.

reply

That's crazy. Why put so much mental energy into something you can't control, and in a information environment where the signal to noise ratio is so low

I don't understand it either, but he's not alone. The viewership for Candace Owens is setting new records.

reply

Also I've heard about people out in public meeting finding like-minded folks because they're wearing the Candace Owens sweatshirts, caps, etc. Yes, it's definitely the beginnings of a "tribe".

reply

I've cut back on how much I consume about this quite a bit.

I follow:

  • candace owens (youtube)
  • clint russel (liberty lockdown podcast and youtube)
  • Baron Coleman (youtube)
  • now also Jon Aaron Bray (https://x.com/jonaaronbray), now that I know he's one of the people with the best analysis of the exploding mic theory.

Just following the above folks, you'll usually get a good overview of things. Because they're the ones spending insane amounts of time researching.

reply

Also, just FYI - looking at videos on X is lots better than Youtube. On Youtube, the content creators will get strikes if they show anything right around when CK is actually shot.

On X, there's not that limitation. Also, the image quality is a lot higher. I've seen videos on X that I haven't seen anywhere else.

Probably X will be the next one to get censored.

reply

Man, I'd be thrilled to have someone I could talk to in person about this.

reply

Yeah me too. I checked out after about a week of his death. Sad to see the cash, clickbait, and power grabs that are going on since his death.

There's a lot of contention around this, though. A number of things don't make sense with the originally claimed bullet type and the claimed bullet type has shifted slightly (as a result?).

reply

Yes, now "frangible bullet" is the claim, I believe.

reply

Right, which I've heard shouldn't have destroyed so many vertebrae.

I really don't think we can count on any of the disclosed details being correct. It has the feel of things just being made up that they hope will satisfy the questions that people are asking.

reply

Yes, it appears to be very "responsive". As in 'inconvenient fact people notice', then "here's another disclosure that explains it".

reply

Explosives in the microphone bring back memories of exploding pagers and walkie talkies.

He pissed off Israel.

reply

Yes, that's the working theory. CK was very much against an attack on Iran by the US, which Israel really wants.
