To be honest, at my current employer (who shall remain nameless) and what I hear from other IT people, email is kinda dying breed. Yes, it's there but instant messaging has taken over my work place. We use slack and I start seeing the patter here. So, IMHO, no it won't get fixed, it will die of natural causes.
