I cannot imagine that everyday people getting hauled off to the war front want their corrupt leaders to continue this. I think a better question is who gets what they want? Russia! Soon they will move toward Kyiv and when they are at the outskirts Ukraine will finally negotiate. Russia gets the regions it wanted (donetsk, luhansk, kherson) in return for pulling back and there will be peace
My guess is, it will be forever war. Not literally "forever" but never officially end but fizzle out over decades into guerilla wars, small skirmishes, suicide bombings etc.

I assume a “win” for UA would be if Russia removed itself from all of the claimed territory (incl. Crimea).
