The Bitcoin conference is no longer a Bitcoin conference it is a political and fiat roadshow.

Very true. What really gets under my skin is that when I speak to people about bitcoin they immediately assume I'm MAGA because of all the pre election publicity. I don't buy the whole there is no such thing as bad publicity thing.

Scammy crypto lobby probably held Bitcoin back a few years of adoption.

They did help get Ross Free. Also they do employ a lot of bitcoiners!

People can earn a living moving bitcoin into the mainstream for better or for worse.

Yeah bitcoin magazine fails the purity test of a maxi but I try not to throw the baby out with the bath water. They spend a lot of time and resources to move the space forward and employ and fund a ton of toxic Bitcoin maxis
