Kids driving is so scary. Plus the cost of buying another car, and the insurance adjustment

Yeah insurance will be an issue. My dad will have to give up his car at some point due to his parkinsons. Doctor is still letting him drive but he has to pass some reflex and reaction tests every appointment so we know at some point he will be two slow. My son can have his car when he can't drive anymore. It's a good car Honda CRV but a bit older so not worth selling or trading in. So we wouldn't need to get another car but insurance for a new teen driver. Yikes, I don't even want to think about it.

And sorry about your dad and his Parkinson’s. That’s tough

He has adapted pretty well and medication is managing it reasonably well. He pretty much does everything he normally did just slower, more cautiously and he gets tired out easily. I help him with stuff like mowing the lawn in summer and raking leaves in fall and we hired someone to clear the driveway this winter. Hopefully he has a couple more years of normalcy before it really impacts his quality of life.
