Hi! A notifications page crash can be attributed to a multitude of things. Investigating now.

Will be back with some questions if needed ⚡️

@AGORA

  • when did this start happening?
    • did you receive a push notification right before this started happening?
      if so:
      • do you remember the kind or the content of the push notification?
  • does this happen only on one specific platform or both Desktop and Mobile?

Has been happening for few days, maybe weeks. I did not give it much importance as I know you guys are busy delivering new functionalities and assumed it was a temporary bug.

I've no push notifications enabled as I use Sn only on desktop browser.

I tried to log out and login back but nothing changes. What else could I try?

I see, okay, I tried to reproduce a variety of scenarios regarding the editor and I couldn’t find a fault.

Will check every other thing that the notifications page can display.

Don’t worry about me being busy with new functionalities, it is still my duty to keep everything in order 🫡

These bugs are really tricky because there’s so many variables on the notifications page.

I’ll do my best to get this fixed today

Not sure you just changed something? Is working now! Thank you very much 🙏

This bug was caused by a coincidence of two things:

  1. someone signed up after landing on your territory, granting you a referral
  2. you changed from `~AG0RA` with a zero to `~AGORA` without one

When we tried to show you the referral notification we, incorrectly, tried to find `~AG0RA` with a zero.[1] This caused an error.

Thanks for reporting! It helped us uncover this sneaky bug.

  1. this had no foreign key relationship because it's stored as a polymorphic id. bah.

interesting, never changed the territory name. Could I perhaps have made a mistake and shared a wrong referral link like `stacker.news/~AG0RA/r/AG0RA` [1]?

  1. @sox just found another bug of the new editor lol, adding a territory between `code` tags brake the formatting

Ah, sharing the wrong link would trigger this bug too, which is another bug!
