This bug was caused by a coincidence of two things:

  1. someone signed up after landing on your territory, granting you a referral
  2. you changed from `~AG0RA` with a zero to `~AGORA` without one

When we tried to show you the referral notification we, incorrectly, tried to find `~AG0RA` with a zero.[1] This caused an error.

Thanks for reporting! It helped us uncover this sneaky bug.

  1. this had no foreign key relationship because it's stored as a polymorphic id. bah. ↩

interesting, never changed the territory name. Could I perhaps have made a mistake and shared a wrong referral link like `stacker.news/~AG0RA/r/AG0RA` [1]?

  1. @sox just found another bug of the new editor lol, adding a territory between `code` tags brake the formatting ↩
