The value on SN is the information exchanged, not the sats.
Zaping sats to each others is kind of dumb.

Same as me, I am using CCs only, so supposedly people cannot give me sats, only CCs that remain inside SN. What is wrong with that I want a circular economy INSIDE SN?

Cowboy Credits are not the innovation.
Sats aka BITCOIN that’s used in real time on social media is the innovation.
Cowboy credits are Chucky Cheese tokens they are NOT money.
People come to Stacker News for value… because their time is valuable and they want higher quality discussion that’s rewarded with SATS. SATS are the innovation not chucky cheese tokens or ‘YouTube likes’.
SATS are an early implementation of the Lightning-based economy they are, if imperfect, the entire point.
