I suppose I wasn't able to convince you of anything. That makes me sad, because I sense that you are rightfully angry at the state of the world, but you misdiagnose the problem and apply a simple label to it, which also makes you think that the solution is simpler than it is.

I know it’s not simple. I attribute the state of the world to the fiat system as the culprit. No one needs to convince me of anything. Everyone sees Bitcoin in their own way, but it works the same for everyone. For me, it is money, and that’s it. How I acquire it is up to me.

In that sense, striving for some ideal capitalism through Bitcoin in today’s world is anything but simple. But at the end of the day, Bitcoin also teaches us that it’s up to us how we use the freedom it offers. I know. I will Orange Pill people because I want to open doors to freedom for them not with the goal of building the value of my own stack.

I’m not saying this has anything to do with you. These are just things I also notice alongside a whole lot of good. That’s why I made my post in the first place.

reply

Anyway, I agree with your original post. Bitcoin is for everyone, and is a tool for freedom regardless of what your political/economic views are.

(Or, for that matter, how you even define the word capitalism).

That’s the point you don’t have to be a capitalist to understand and be someone who lives on the Bitcoin standard.

I’m certainly not a communist, nor do I have political beliefs. My focus is on sovereignty, family, work that benefits everyone, and striving to leave something behind—maybe some art, a home for my descendants, and ultimately my hard-earned Bitcoin.
