Yes.
Fuck capitalism.

Bitcoin is a monetary technology, not an economic ideology.
It solves the problem of money.
It does not prescribe how society must be organized.

Capitalism is a system of ownership and the distribution of power over capital.
Bitcoin simply says this: money should be neutral, it cannot be printed at will, it cannot be censored, and everyone plays by the same rules.

Many people confuse these things because they are used to the fiat world where:
money = state = corporations = power.

In the Bitcoin world, these things are separated.

You can be a Bitcoiner for reasons that have nothing to do with profit:
because of freedom from inflation
because of self-sovereignty
because of resistance to censorship
because of protecting labor, time, and energy
because of local communities and solidarity
because of its anti-war and anti-colonial potential
because of ecology and a more rational relationship with resources

There are Bitcoiners who are:
anarchists
communalists
leftists
environmental activists
artists
people who don’t want capital accumulation, but stability and meaning.

Bitcoin does not demand that you accumulate.
It only gives you the ability not to be robbed by the system.

Paradoxically, Bitcoin can be:
an anti-capitalist tool in a world of late capitalism
protection for the individual against financial centralization
infrastructure for direct democracy and collective decision-making.

freedom from inflation

you know this kills your commie ideology?
the commie manifesto? centralization of credit?
it's ok, you are young and influenced by academia
i think you have the brains to get this quicker than the normies :)

I’m not a communist. I’m talking about community, responsibility, and fair systems using Bitcoin as a neutral tool. It’s not about ideology, it’s about rules, trust, and real value.
Stay humble man. And Stack Sats. Pick up the hoe.

👀Today’s world shows what capitalism really is.

What do you dislike about capitalism and what do you like about bitcoin?

Maybe you're confusing the word capitalism with some of the unjust s*** going on in the world today

What I dislike about capitalism is that agreements and rules often exist only for a small group of people. Power, access, and privileges are concentrated, and most people have no real say. The rules are bendable if you’re strong enough or rich enough.

What I like about Bitcoin is exactly the opposite. It’s a neutral system built on consensus. Agreements are not for a few they are for everyone. Rules are clear, transparent, and apply equally. No one can print more, censor transactions, or bend the system. Bitcoin shows how a community can function based on trust, responsibility, and respect for shared rules, not on power or privilege. Work itself has to exist and over time its value should grow, not be exploited. That is why Bitcoin is real money.

In that sense, Bitcoin is a tool for education too. It teaches us how people can organize themselves fairly, hold each other accountable, and create value together. That’s why it’s not just money it’s a lesson in what human cooperation can look like when rules matter.

Do you think this is gonna be different in any non-capitalist system though?

I see that here. In the Bitcoin community. That’s why I’m here. Because I see self-organized groups working in the common interest, giving and contributing for everyone, and in return they receive sats.
For me, that’s enough, but it’s not capitalism. It’s simply an equal space to contribute to the community, with rewards according to merit. That’s it.

And yet, most of us here are "capitalists" (i think it's fair to say that, even though I don't like the word.)

My point is, I don't think your actual beef is with capitalism per se.

reply

We earn Bitcoin as a reward because we help the community function and progress, not for the sake of the tip itself. That’s the point. At least, that’s how I see it.

I’m an artist, and as a creator I make things not for sats, but because I want to leave something for society that people may enjoy tomorrow or not. I focus on contributing. If I happen to receive sound money in return, even better.

But I’m not guided by a capitalist narrative of “I need to earn more.” That’s the point.
If that’s not the case, maybe I’m wrong. Then we could say that I’m just angry at the world.

A real Bitcoiner cares about sound money, individual sovereignty, and freedom from coercive systems — not political games or party agendas. Bitcoin, we don’t run for office or chase power. Bitcoin transcends that nonsense.

I’m not talking about parties or politics. I’m talking about self-organized individuals who agree on one thing and exist because of it. They are rewarded with sound money that has real value, provides privacy, protects us, and limits abuse. Bitcoin shows how a community can function based on trust, rules, and responsibility not power or privilege.

reply

yes, in principle.

And then the further you dig into what money does, what version of extreme private property bitcoin is, then no, there's no way to be a Bitcoiner and a non-capitalist.

Nice knowing you, BYYEEEEE

Okay, bye bye! 🙂

I’m always happy to spend time on someone else’s work. As for capitalism, I’ve already shared my thoughts.

reply

not really. You've only said it's distribution of power over capital. Kind of alright as a description, but quite meaningless statement

reply

That’s what I think about the kind of capitalism we should strive for.

reply

As long as we contribute to the community, it’s good for us too.
