Again, I don't give a shit about monero and black markets
Without darkmarkets, there would be no bitcoin.
Without a free market, free money has no meaning.

I think that is arguable. While silkroad did boost bitcoin's early economy, I don't think we can say bitcoin would never have existed without it.
We all know monero is a useful tool for private transactions, yes. But Darth's whole point is that Bitcoin is the apex predator of moneys, while monero is a little shrimp that can see 4,000 colors. It's cool, and it's unique, sure. But Bitcoin's use case far outweighs the needs of a small percentage of people wanting to buy darknet drugs anonymously.

you're wrong. separating money from state means making black markets to have equal footing with state sanctioned markets. this was bitcoin's original promise and use case. without this, it's just a shittier paypal

When was bitcoin's original promise giving black markets equal footing with state sanctioned markets? I don't remember reading that in the whitepaper.
If you think the bitcoin network is a shittier paypal, you really don't understand what bitcoin is. I recommend reading a few books on bitcoin so you can learn more about what its unique properties can do for you

sounds like you need to listen to old bitcoin uncensored episodes and understand how bitcoin became valuable and why it was valued by whom

I'm fully aware of silkroad's influence on the early economy of Bitcoin. What I don't agree with is that the two are mutually exclusive. You don't need bitcoin for silkroad (monero proves this) and you don't need silkroad for bitcoin.
