Our issue is that the kid isn't very motivated by reasonable amounts of money, so we either need raise her wages or convince her to want money more.

I read somewhere that a home economy is a great tool to teach kids about money when they are remunerated for doing something you are willing to outsource to someone else. Household responsibilities, not so much.
I think I need to let go n have my son mop the floor even if I don’t think he is doing it well haha
