I remember when I realized this. While I was a Republican and conservative in my views I was thinking about how we can co-exist in peace. I talked to many people including politicians. It became clear to me during the gay marrage debate that solutions were not the goal.

There were a bunch of stories about people in prolife groups being really upset by the overturning of Roe.

Yeah, it was around that time that I realized that Roe was a fundraiser for both sides and overturning it was a negative for both.

Reality is that if each state decides its not a Presidental issue. Same is true for many issues. It's one reason I think both parties reject states rights.

For all the no Kings talk both parties love the executive power. It's laughable to hear these people cry about Trump.

I have little patience for all of it. What we are watching was inevitable in hindsight.

The push to ban it at the federal level is the new rally but that's much less popular.
