That's what I was doing with my old sign in method, just curious about LN and wanted to try out other ways of interacting with SN. Plus now I get a horsie and a gun. Trying to learn more about Nostr as well, want to build something that incorporates lightning but still a relative newb

That is OK, if you want to experiment, go ahead, link wallets, learn etc. I do not deny that, I encourage it.

Let me give a final advice: link your wallets to LN services ONLY when is really needed and with specific decoy accounts... even if you run a private node (not public channels) try to use a decoy one in front of it.

you can ignore my advice, but you cannot ignore the consequences of ignoring my advice...
