The amounts are so small here so I guess it makes sense for many users to use Bitcoin IOUs.
If you are on here regularly the amounts can be quite significant.
Besides that the amounts do not need to be large for Stacker News to be a place where LN is used regularly and where it is tested and developed and strengthened.
Not attaching wallets undermines the effort to build and demonstrate a functional BTC denominated social media platform.
Stacker News is a live test bed where Bitcoiners can participate and build a sats denominated social media platform and circular economy- depressing that so many especially those who speak about the importance of Bitcojn and using Bitcoin cannot be bothered actually attaching wallets to enable this and the systems that underpin it to grow and strengthen.
There seems instead to be a lot of circle jerking virtue signalling but very little actual effort and commitment.
And yet here on Stacker News, the only social network that is built on sats V4V P2P we have several prominent Bitcoin Maxis who resolutely refuse to attach wallets and participate in the BTC circular economy.

Is this a problem within the Bitcoin community- that so many spout such bold echo chamber circle jerking virtue signalling nonsense but in practice cannot or do not even bother attaching wallets and participating in the BTC P2P circular economy that Stacker News has built?
