What is your lowest time preference action you take? For some its stacking sats. For myself it is taking care of my health through natural foods (animal proteins, root vegitables, fruits), cardio 3x a week and lifting weights, and sauna heat therapy.
You?
Having integrity

This is the hardest one because you may never see “real” verification that it was worth it. Even things like eating healthy and raising kids give external feedback and confirmation. On the other hand, having integrity may only ever be internally valuable yourself, and subject to the whims of emotion and mood.

I was thinking about that it also means an opposite care about your body. Because for women it would mean directly wasting body resources, for men it would mean same but in an indirect way.

self education is my pick.
steve jobs had a good section in this speech about how it was impossible to know what learnings from his life would be useful in advance, but years later he could connect the dots and see how each experience shaped his life.
his line about how his calligraphy college class shaped apple’s type fonts sticks out to me. it took a decade of sitting on that information, just waiting to put it to use. lots of people don’t have the patience to learn without a practical goal in mind.

I have slowly and methodically built a large sized army of composting worms since 2014 these worms produce organic fertilizer which I will use to grow organic food for chickens and I will sell eggs for Sats at farmers markets.

Being a founder.
Depending on who you are though, being a founder can also be high time preference.
For me, it's low time preference financially but high time preference independence wise.
