Amazon captured 56% of total U.S. online retail spending in Q3 2025, compared with Walmart’s 9.6% share. Walmart’s eCommerce sales grew 27.2% year over year in the third quarter, nearly three times Amazon’s 9.6% growth rate.
That shows Amazon is the past and Walmart is the future, some say it may be worth more with AWS split-out into a separate company but I think it may be even uglier.
That said I am perplexed as to how Walmart keeps ripping in the middle of a CEO succession
