If someone else want to zap you, fine for me, but I do not want that the fees I am paying to post on SN to be distributed to you. That is exactly what a gov is doing with subsidies.

That’s not cognitive dissonance. It’s understanding the difference between acting under duress and acting freely. You are not under duress here, you just don’t like how the system works.
I want Stacker News to succeed and invested pretty heavily in it doing so. If I thought your idea had more potential I’d support it.
