Watergate was an actual red-pill
I know what you are saying but I pretty much think few actually take the red pill. There have been MANY red pills and most people seem to still choose the blue one. We all can make lists of red pill moments and probably most people change little in their lives because of them.
I see slow erosion of trust in institutions but not a red pill moment. Not then, not now.

Fair enough and I basically agree.
My point could be stated differently as there just not being as much room for the needle to move anymore. Whatever amount of disillusionment occurred because of Watergate probably isn't possible anymore.

Yeah..

My impression is that Americans had a lot of trust in the integrity of political institutions in the 60's, so Watergate was an actual red-pill.
I don't think many people are even surprised by the Epstein files because we all know the whole thing is corrupt. Some people just still think it's mostly "the other side" that's responsible for the corruption.
