Under the test if any part of the forward is overlap it's good.

The usual is any part of the forward ahead is off side.

This is only when they reach a certain line correct. You can still have a forward get ahead of a defender and receive a long pass correct?

If the sprint starts before midfield line it's ok, he can be offside as much as he wants
