I suggest start with custodial ones, learn how it works and with time you strategize more in one of these two ways:
Set a max threshold to keep in the custodial wallet, and transfer in your preferred bitcoin cold storage devices any extra sats
Gradually move to fully self-custodial solutions, both ~bitcoin and ~lightning
