pull down to refresh

This Monday, I was going through an Oral practice with my six graders. The idiom “butterflies in my tummy” was in the passage.

When I returned home, I grabbed a book from the book shelf. It was entitled “Khai and the Butterflies”. Needless to say, the idiom appeared in this storybook itself.

Today, I taught my fourth graders “eager”. This evening, I wanted my boy to learn something, so I got him to read aloud to me. Came across the simile “as eager as a beaver” Wow, what are the odds that I find a word duplicated in my everyday teaching. Gonna teach my fourth graders this tomorrow to reinforce their understanding!
