How much more widespread adoption do we need to realize that Bitcoin is the future? I ask myself this regularly.
I think widespread adoption at the government level and in general is something we won’t see in the short term (by “short term,” I mean the next 50 years).
The fiat model is designed to benefit those who control it; Bitcoin breaks that control. It is not in governments’ best interest to fully adopt Bitcoin, just as it is not in their best interest to ban it.
