I got this email from Primal and freaked out! How long can I keep playing custodial hot potato on lightning?

Mobile?
Mobile devices should be used exclusively for:

  • pay a LN invoice to a merchant
  • answer desperate wife's calls only if something is urgent

I do not use nostr on mobile, only if I test something or I really have to answer something urgent. I only use nostr on mobile with: nmail and white noise (chat).

Using nostr as social media crap on mobile it will eat your data plan and battery like hell. And for what?

Nostr desktop clients that should be considered:

  • Jumble / Fevela
  • NoStrudel
  • Gossip / Futr (native apps)
  • YakiHonne (quite slow, but interesting)
  • Phoenix

People should stop using mobile device for everything!
