How do you earn bitcoin for your services? How to convince a client far from this area to pay you sats?
Work for fiat, sell fiat for BTC

I love that you said "sell" fiat.
Normalize talking about Bitcoin as the real money. Cuz it is.

Offer a slight discount if they pay you BTC.

I wish there were more services out there which would do this. Often times I'll see a 25% surcharge, which is insane... we can bypass Visa's 3%!

good idea)

I offer taking BTC or LTC with a 10-15% discount, both either on chain or through the LN.
Sometimes, someone asks if I take stablecoins or ETH. I tell them I would, but with a 50% and a 100% premium, respectively, which they always refuse, of course. I then suggest they send them over the RSK network using a decentralized bridge, where I'd take them with just a 25% or 50% premium, respectively. Once they know that, they either go the whole way to convert them to BTC and pay me with it, or don't bother and give me cash.

If you are running just a small business like mowing lawns, selling food at a farmers market, etc., then that's easy. Just use a mobile wallet and set up a big sign saying 5% off for payments in Bitcoin. If you are looking for a job then https://stacker.news/~jobs is the best place to look.
There are also a ton of links to good sights here, although some of them are more useful than others. My favorite ones I found were the myriad of bug bounties, and Bitcoin Magazine's rewards app.

Could sell stuff for btc

There was a platform where you could do this but I can't recall the name. I visited it a couple times but people were just selling their junk.

Lol silk road

I personally take the knock for it, I offer clients a discount if they settle in bitcoin and hope to recoupe it with future price appreciation. I normally use the invoicing system zaprite and allow them to see the price in the currency they preffer but settle in bitcoin, as the invoice automatically calculates based on the time its being paid

I'll remember that, thanks.

Are you talking about work as an independent contractor on different projects? You can try to convince them, which is hard work but you would be orange pilling at the same time and helping bitcoin adoption, or you can simply convert the fees you earn once you are paid. The lazy way out!

I occasionally earn Bitcoin helping out a former business partner. He will call me sometimes to get advice on new or existing accounts/projects and always offers to pay me for my time but I tell him send me sats or I will do it for free. So he sends me 50k sats for 15mins or less chat and 100k sats for more than 15 mins. I am happy to help, I still get some commissions from the business so I want it to do well. I would do it for free but I can't resist the sats.
This is the only work I have done for Bitcoin thus far. I would like to explore using Bitcoin payments as leverage to undercut competition in offering services but I haven't gotten around to it yet as I am enjoying my semi-retirement and have gotten a bit lazy. When the hunger burns great enough again, I will start something new and see how I can integrate Bitcoin but for now I am content working small contract jobs and hanging out with my kids.
What kind of services do you offer?
Cheers, GR

Work for fiat, and foldapp gives cashback for using their debit card. Cashback is based on a gamified spin wheel.

I stack sats listening to podcasts at fountain.FM

Yes, I know that there are a lot of services where you can get some sats for various actions. I also use a fountain. I was more interested in the big and real income.

I occasionally buy sats. I have a Cash App card that I use when I eat out. I have the bitcoin round up feature turned on to "tax" my restaurant spending. Most of my sats though is coming from a miner. It gets me about a million a month.

Like @nullama, I sell fiat for BTC (and dare I say it, ETH).
I've a note on my invoices (engineering services) offering a 10% discount for crypto payments, but never had anyone even call me about it.

I am building a little tool to recommend channel partners for lightning node runners and to get the suggestions they have to pay a few sats. It's not much, but it's fun to build and I learn a lot about lightning.
