I saw George Thorogood live for the first time tonight. If you're of my generation his music was just always playing in whatever bar or party you wandered into. Now he's 76 years old, but he still has plenty of energy left. Here's one of his biggest hits:

I love me some Thorogood, and have not yet seen him live, and hadn't even realized he was still touring. Definitely adding him to my bucket list (or my reverse bucket list, since the goal is to see him before he passes or can't perform any more).

He is pretty old. The show was great, but catch him soon.

I love this song!

His music is always fun. My personal favourite is get a haircut but obviously bad to the bone was his big hit.

Must have been a good show.

Get a Haircut was a real crowd pleaser, you'll be happy to know.

I’m 10 times richer than my big brother Bob but he’s got a haircut and got a real job. Such a fun song. I really connected with it when I was young and playing in a band.

My friends and I still quote from some of his spoken lines from the studio version.

"I'm tired."

"When your mouth is dry, you purdy high."

"Mah wife, she kinda funny."

He has a good sense of humor. He does always give John Lee Hooker credit for the best lines, which he stole.
