I always liked Dawkins. I've been a part of "the atheist community" since TJ kirk was extruding bananas all over pornhub, but Richard has felt like the sane, comfortable one who just said stuff and didn't care about winning internet points. And then he had a stroke. Now, he's come out and declared the Claude is conscious. I especially find this ironic because he's the one who introduced me to the term "p-zombie". I guess just insert the batman quote about living long enough to become the villain here. There's not much to say beyond that.

I used to like him a lot for his books on evolution. But he became insufferable in his vendetta against religion. A fundamentalist atheist is as an annoying as a fundamentalist religious person, imo.
I was thinking about that as I picked those. Kind of expected to see some spicy arguments down here, but I don't think anybody cares any more.
