It seems like the macro environment has stalled Bitcoin interest. What can we do to keep the ball rolling and keep eyes on this thing? I really feel institutionalized interest is a big piece to increasing adoption. I think regulatory clarification will help to ease fear.
Perhaps there's nothing to do. We choose volatile growth over steady debasement. This is a long, difficult, and organic process. Keep stacking, watch the BTC/USD pair develop a more intimate bond, shrug at regulation friction, and say cheese at the halving. Volatility is bitcoin's best evangelist imo.
Personally I want Binance gone, DCG parted off, stablecoins regulated to the point they're accepted for commerce globally, and ethereum impaired before the next horn-gored bullish move(s).

Agreed. I welcome Bitcoin exposing the problems. And destroying them systematically.
Nailed it with volatile growth over debasement and organic process.

Individuals need to actually look into what the fiat system is doing. What "money" means to them. Then look at what Bitcoin is, how the supply is enforced, and gradually move their needle away from what amount they think they can sell it for in fiat in the future, and why a global digital settlement tool, with a finite supply, nearly anyone can verify, is a pretty huge thing.
It's a lot for most to put too much effort into actually digging into for themselves. And theres so much noise around all the "crypto" and exchange fiascos.
I'm actually okay with it going slow and steady, the institutions can stay out as long as they'd like as far as I'm concerned. Cheaper sats for me. Or they are already here and to suppress and manipulate it.
But in the end I think something inevitable is happening. The time frame is only important to me for my time on this rock. I'm okay with being dead before seeing it swallow the entire financial system. As long as we are building tech and communities.
There's some quote about building and coming from some movie that likely fits.

Support Bitcoin friendly businesses as much as you can though there aren't many outside the space in most geographies.
Other than that try to set people set up on a weekly DCA regime. I start with $10 and then check back every once in a while to see if they'll up it by $5.
Edit: Usually people jump in with at least a couple hundred dollars or more and then start the weekly. Asking for more than $10 a week from someone that hasn't gone down the rabbit hole is a big ask in my experience.

That’s awesome!

Institutions need bitcoin, not the other way around.

Question for you @BitcoinIsTheFuture, why do we need Bitcoin? If the world needs it and we need it it is just a matter of time right?
reply
I like to focus on what I can control.
  • Buy Bitcoin
  • Use Bitcoin
  • Support businesses using Bitcoin
  • Prepare for when people see their need for it. Its just a matter of time.

1st world problem.
Bitcoin was ALWAYS going to have to bootstrap up from the people who needed it the most. Always. Satoshi new this. Everyone on bitcointalk new this before it became a mainstream topic.
We, as developed-worlders are just LUCKY to have any use at all for it before the developing world folks make it commonplace and destroy fiat currencies in the process.

Use and support Bitcoin friendly businesses as much as you can. Not to many outside of the space though.
Other than that, I get people on a $10 a week DCA regime and then check in every few months and see if they'll bump up to $15. I'm up to 11 people now
