The Hormuz Strait angle makes this more interesting than a typical Bitcoin payments story. Sanctions pressure means USD settlement is genuinely complicated for some of these routes. Bitcoin as neutral settlement rail for high-risk maritime insurance isn't just a fintech experiment, it's filling a real gap traditional insurers won't touch.
