I mentioned in a previous post. Germany did well in their first match but a better rival would give us more info. Ivory Coast lead the match almost up to the end and having opportunities to increase the distance. However, in the last 20 minutes, Germany scored twice to win the match and reach next round.

In the other match of this group, Curaçao added their first point in a World Cup , leaving things really complicated for Ecuador. The South American will play against Germany in the last match of the Group phase.

Netherlands did not show mercy to Sweden and thrashed them 5-1. Japan, in the same group, beat Tunisia 4-0. These results leave all options open , apart from Tunisia already eliminated, for the last match.

Regarding today's matches, Spain needs to show a better performance against Saudi Arabia if they really want to remain in the run for the contest.

Also in Group H, Cabo Verde will try to impress again, this time against Uruguay. Will they be able to repeat their performance?

Then in Group G, Belgium will play against Iran. New Zealand vs Egypt is the other match.

3-1 beautiful game, but I'll be honest I didn't watch Japan game but a 4 nil score is easy to give them the score, i don't know if you have a worst pair of forwards than Equador, how can you loose so many opportunities Dammm at least they scored the boring Kickball point yesterday

reply

No man, the Curacao keeper was amazing. 15 saves, tying the world cup record for most saves in a game. That was beautiful to watch.

Japan was just much better than Tunisia. Check out the highlights, all 4 beautiful goals.

reply

You're absolutely right, but the lack of effectiveness for Equador was really "boring" Enner Valencia is the worst forward in the world Cup

And i need to give boring Kickball some points or I'll be framed as a football fan 😆 😂

I know, I saw. Was humiiiiliating. Worst performance by Sweden in a world cup tournament ever day-after media reported

reply

Netherlands showed their true potential. If they keep at this level, they are clear contenders!

Spain will win easily today.

Let's just hope you did not jinx La Roja

Fortunately he didn't. Great start with wingers and passing the ball lot faster!

I thought we had transcended national identity by now.
