The new Konsensus site is live:
Buy books for Bitcoin, earn sats with our partner program, or submit your book ideas.
Yes, I'm an editor there, so I'm biased, but over the last 7 years, Konsensus has worked with some of the best-known authors in the Bitcoin and freedom tech space, publishing over 100 titles.
The submissions process for publishing is now easier and more transparent.
We'll get back to you within one week, and we only work with freedom and self-sovereignty authors.
That means we know how to represent entropy on a book cover and not to edit out terms like 'absolute scarcity'.
If you are a Stacker with an idea you'd like to spread, we're listening.
Connect us with an author who uses our services, and I'll send you 50,000 sats.
Keep writing. Keep reading.
I liked the way you put it. Fires the imagination!
represent entropy on a book cover
Are there specific topics that Konsensus is especially interested in publishing?
Edit: answered my question in your nostr post, I think:
Konsensus is a hybrid publisher. This means they offer services to help authors publish their own books (usually starting at around $5k).
However, hybrid publishers are selective, and have skin in the game. Konsensus publishes books in the freedom and sovereignty space. This can be anything from homeschooling to spritiuality, or economics to art.
If we took money from shitcoiners and fired out crypto books, it would ruin our reputation.
Basically, we want authors to have the same mission of freedom and the means to take publishing seriously.
It's not for everyone (i.e. it's cheaper to do everything yourself). It can be good for serious writers who are time poor or for first-time authors wanting to ensure quality and impact.
What kind of publishing is required?
If authors want to self publish, but they need help with editing, covers, typesetting, distribution, marketing, etc, Konsensus can help.
As a hybrid publisher, Konsensus selects relevant projects, charges the author for services, and the author retains 100% of royalties.
absolute scarcity doesn't SEO well. Can't have that. Better say "digital credit" -- that's a good one!
LOL.
You have an excellent selection of titles.
Fifteen Shades of Time is a philosophical banger!
Are they writing horny housewife novels thatβs the only genre needed
