To be fair, there are a lot of well-meaning “useful idiots” on the crypto/defi side, so wouldn’t necessarily draw too steady conclusions about morals.
Opportunism, sure. Lazyness/incompetence/naivete about not doing due diligence about the disingenuous token incentives, probably.

That's a fair take. I know several writers in the cRyPtO space.
Some are pragmatist, and some are misguided.

I don't know why I do it anymore; if I could, I'd go back to when I made the error in the first place and pursue, like, the most worthless bottom-of-the-rung fiat gig and live a cushy life
