Honestly my thought exactly. Given how Philly was able to rebound with their change, I did not understand why anyone else waited. Luckily for the Astros, it seems that getting healthier has saved Espada's job, but the Mets just kept disappointing.

For someone who has built up incredible teams in the Astros and Brewers with all the resources he has with the Mets he cannot seem to get it together. Its almost like he operates better when he doesn't have an unlimited budget

Boy is it about time! I am shocked he made it this long! Andy Green is a name I have not heard in a long time and it will be interesting to see how he does. He last managed the Padres from 2016-19, guiding the club to a 274-366 (.428) record.
