I’m thinking about starting back up with pushups/squats/etc linked to the BTC price.

health is the ultimate wealth, let’s go!

YEAH! THat was fun.. 100/day-until-a-100k was a big thing. @Kontext ruled

There was a 150 pushups till 150k thing going on on X at some point... I felt inclined to join. Today is day 987 of 100+ per day and day 107 of 150+ per day :) Speaking of which, I need to get my workout in!

brb.

Fuck that, bruh. How?! I managed 200 that one time... Otherwise, paltry 40-50 on average

I do them 2x per day nowadays: a morning set of max pushups once (I call it the David Goggins breakfast as I heard somewhere he used to do that and got the idea from there) and another set and another session of smaller sets i.e. 3x33 on an easy day or different variations when doing some more "proper" workouts.

In total, doesn't take a whole lot of time out of the day and can be managed even when low on energy or sleep deprived or sick or whatever.

I'm still not super proficient at this stuff even though I've done so many in the past 2.5+ years. I haven't hit 100+ in one set so far at all, for example. Also haven't unlocked the handstand pushup yet.

Incredible, just straight-up incredible.

The consistency is what impressed me the most. I usually do sets of 15; that's seven sets across the day, it'll take five minutes... Do I carve out five minutes for that?
Rarely.

and def not first thing in the morning. Goggins can keep his brekkie

Just start, don't overthink it. How would you link that to the price? 🤔

reply

I might do something like 60 pushups and squats while the price is in the 60s and increase that to 70 when we get back to the 70s, etc.

Okay, great! I want to see you when Bitcoin is at 200,000 💪👌.

That’s an acceptable trade to me
