..... its time.... we got it in the bag...

reply

This a joke, right?

reply

give it 40 more years of propaganda, --maybe to the tune of, "those crazy Canadians are conspiring to make a nuke"--, several more military ops and another MAGAlomaniacal octogenarian, and then, maybe, Americans can muster the political will to invade cottage country. But for some reason I doubt it.

reply

Canada’s nukes are the forests you keep burning down at us.

reply

Little known fact: Canada provided the uranium for the Manhattan Project.

The extraction and transport of it was such a mess, the archives of what happened have never been unsealed. Anecdotal histories from the Dene people report multi-generational effects from irradiation. Populations there are so small it is hard to get a reliable sample size.

It probably suited the US better not to deal with mining and extraction, nor did it really suit Canadians, which is why we made the indigenous peoples do it. I guess the buck stops where the cancer-causing industry begins.

They also try to bury the evidence of cancer spikes in New Mexico following the testing

It doesn't surprise me. Maybe having neighbouring countries with unlimited guinea-pigs, aligns more with maintaining military superiority?

reply

And all it won you was The Star Spangled Banner and a bloody nose!

reply

Small price to pay for a dope song and making you guys move your capitol.

reply

Well we got Laura Secord, so I'd say it was worth it on both counts.

Besides, didn't the White House get "moved," as well?

reply

The White House was burned down but I don’t think it was moved.

reply

You're right, so just the particles moved.

reply

It was just a building; we got the most important thing out of it beforehand when First Lady Dolley Madison saved the Gilbert Stuart full-length portrait of George Washington!
