Pork gets pretty cheap if you buy shoulder or butt. I think HEB has it for under $3/lb on sale sometimes. Cook it in a sealed big foil package lined with parchment in your oven for 7 hours and you have awesome taco meat for the week.
oh that sounds like a meal deal, i try to stay away from pork ever since i found out its bad for you, if i do eat pork its only for pastor tacos these days
ya my friend @Ov1 told me some horrific stuff about it a year ago, ever since, I started eating less of it then recently stopped eating it, its a bummer cause i like pastor tacos don't really care much for bacon or ribs
