Calling me a "stupid nigger" and telling me to "move to Liberia" doesn't answer anything.

It assumes Black Americans don't belong here.

My ancestors built this country, often through forced labor. Later generations fought to make America live up to its own promises of citizenship, voting rights, and equal protection.

I'm not going anywhere.

America belongs to me every bit as much as it belongs to you.
