I am about to replace the fans on an Avalon Q. I'm typically not very adept at this stuff. I am watching videos and reading up on it, but does anyone have any suggestions before I open the beast and start messing things up?

I am about to replace the fans on an Avalon Q. I'm typically not very adept at this stuff. I am watching videos and reading up on it, but does anyone have any suggestions before I open the beast and start messing things up?
I have zero patience, so I had to start tinkering. The good news - the Q is actually mining after more than a month of frustration and delays. The bad news is I just got the faulty exhaust fan working by my tried and true method of banging it around a little. This is probably just a temporary fix. More not so good news: while taking stuff apart I dropped a tiny screw into the guts of the miner. I heard it rattling around when I moved the Q. Now silence.
The only Avalon miners I have are the Nano 3 ones (without the s), and they've been really hard to keep alive compared to my Antminers. Whatsminers seem to be immortal. I figure with a machine like that, you gotta do what you gotta do to keep it hashing!

Thanks for the link! I have checked that out but have not decided to pull the trigger. I did find an interesting video where the case was made for turning the Q upside down to better disperse heat, but I'm concerned it might stress vital components through lack of support. I'm learning a hell of a lot about the Q because of this problem. I may do a write up detailing the problem and my experiences with Canaan support and the warranty.
BTW, I have had great luck with the 3s.
