Pertinent question: can we really verify or that individual prove that the destination address is NOT his own other wallet?
All these stories about "my coldcard got drained" sounds to me like the perfect excuse to get away washing a tx...
I could perfectly create a new X account and start screaming that my coldcard was drained. Who is going to verify that info and who can prove that I didn't sent the BTC to myself?
Then i can even create a geyser campaign for donations as a victim of Coinkite and people will still send me sats LOL
