Take a read of this recent blog post by Mathew Green (Cryptographer), it’s an interesting perspective on what AI might mean for cybersecurity. Maybe things get “too secure”, so authorities start asking for back doors instead of hacking.

I didn't properly consider the full extent of gaming the system
You make some good points, and found some flaws in the system
In a broader context it reminds me of the latest attacks on Bitcoin infrastructure, think cc, boltz etc
I've read a few reports where a 5-10 person team is maintaining a project and complain they don't have the resources to keep up with the constant onslaught from ai attacks
Without disregarding the skillz of open source devs, this latest wave of ai attacks is low hanging fruit, when I think of friends who have worked in cyber security for banks and telecommunications for over 10 years, they may be more prepared than we give them credit for
I would expect these attackers to look for middle ground as they grow in confidence, not a legacy bank or a 2 man dev team but something in the middle
