Saw it on nostr. They're big Jack Dorsey fans there and berd was made by Block, so somebody put it out there.
I don't know what to use it for either. The vibes are fun though. Welcome to The Vibe Age where people sneeze out 1m lines of "personalized" software that's functionally 10% different (and usually 90% worse) than something else that already exists.
That's a fair analysis as far as I can tell. I expected a write up somewhere explaining things, but didn't see it. Like you say though, I also dig the funky/quirky/silly vibe. I can respect fun. But something about those characters is nightmarish. Looks like demented, delirious, trippin' out Thomas the Train.
