Yes, you're right. The most important thing is to acquire your own land.
Man, I feel this. Our fridge just broke this week. Homeownership is full of headaches!
Exactly. Yesterday my carbon monoxide detector was beeping out the blue
to be fair, every headache a homeowner experiences a renter also experiences, but the renter is at the mercy of the homeowner as to whether they actually gonna fix it
Exactly. Or the fact that the contract ends or isn't renewed. Etc., etc. I think I'd rather have the headache of fixing something in my house than not have my own place to stay, no matter how small and simple it is, the important thing is that it's my own. There's nothing more stressful than not knowing if you'll have a place to spend the night (I speak from experience).
Did it start at a disorienting hour of night? That’s when ours always starts up.
Nah thank goodness it didn’t
At this point, do you think it's better to rent or own a property?
Always better to own if you can! As a child we didn’t own so pets were always not allowed. Now that I know I can have all the pets I want

Being a homeowner for many years now I see houses and all the things that go wrong.
HVAC breaks
Stains on the walls
Roof leaks
Mice in attic
Window seals break
Cut the grass
Heating and cooling bills
Hard water issues
Garage door breaks
Constantly have to fix something but it is nice to have a place to call home in which you can do as you wish!
Not sure if I have a dream home I would have to do a lot of window shopping to find something that i actually fell I love with.
