True, and you make a fair point. But I dont think i have found a recommendation for such a writer who is newly writing now.
Every writer I've heard about lately got their start (and recognition) before AI -- okay, AI has only really been capable of the deluge for the last year or two -- how does a new writer go about finding readers these days?
being a writer is supposed to be more behind-the-scenes work, I think. When I began to study literature, we looked briefly at every writer's bio, and it struck me that nearly every one of them did something else besides writing.
I'm just saying, I think it's a feature that you can go unnoticed for a large chunk of your writing career.
so I guess I would just ask a different question, but the one you pose is certainly still worth answering
I do appreciate your observations, how you consider them seriously and communicate them responsibly, but in this case I might say you're leaning over your toes going out of the way to be cynical that it won't happen when you could rejoice that it did happen, that this time (and many repeat times on this site) someone has made a personal recommendation that you connected with
