So this is genuinely me asking for help. I've been trying to connect to someone at Binance and FixedFloat for over a year now in the hopes of opening a channel with them.
I've reached out to all the e-mails they have available but have been unable to get any traction. LinkedIn, X, Reddit, etc.
My hopes is to open a large (2-5 BTC) channel with both of these nodes, and I'm hoping as one of the largest nodes on the Lightning Network they would be open to this discussion.
Does anyone have a connection into either of these organizations they could help with?

I am interested in Lightning too, and I had not really thought about this side of it. It is interesting that even when you are ready to open a large channel, simply reaching the right person can still be difficult. Another reminder that Lightning is not only about the technical side.
BTW you should definitely run a LTN node the more the better
I would really like to run one eventually. Right now the cost is a bit beyond my budget, so I am taking it slowly. I am active on Stacker News and Nostr, where I also share my experiences with Lightning and what I learn along the way. If the sats I earn from my posts and contributions add up over time, I would love to put them toward setting up a Lightning node. That would make the whole journey feel even more meaningful.
some major nodes have contact info on Amboss but many don't , also usually you can open directly going to Amboss or LTN+ search for the channel you want to open to and in the connect menu you can find the tor and/or clearnet address, on LTN+ you can create private swaps and invite the channels you're interested .. LTN+ is my favorite a triangle swap gives you both 1 inbound and 1 outbound channels so you start already balanced
Binance is not a peer you link to, they select their peers. If you truly want a Bin channel, go through their support, but set expectations low. For FF, have you checked if the node has been claimed on amboss? If they do, they usually have contact details.
From what I can it support
large_channels, and neither advertisesoption_will_fundnor a fixedhtlc_minimum. What happens if you simply open a channel to fixedfloat? Do you get any output/error?FixedFloat shows a clearnet address on amboss, you can probably open directly .. but i'm sure you already tried that
have you tried LTN+ ? you can DM them directly if you haven't tried yet you might want to give it a shot
