I used to have only a Nokia for comms until late 2014, then I switched to smartphone+signal. Now I'm waiting for what the final state of numberless signal will be. If it's good I'll keep it, if not I will have to switch, problem being there's nothing I like.
You want to burn your nokias too, though. Or, you want to especially burn those. I don't know if these still exist but there used to be $30 ones made in the Indian branch that were good for this.
Are stackers mostly use prepaid or postpaid mobile numbers? I'm at the point of thinking to switch my local SIM to prepaid and use slient link for internet since I don't really use my phone that much.
Also for anyone using nadanada need to be pay attention, I tested the rent for 3-month option, I quite liked the overall experience. But once it expires, you can't renew the same number anymore, which isn't good if you want to use it for something important. You can definitely rent it for one year or longer and even set a reminder email, but be aware.
