Good note re: prepaid number. Yes, you have to keep track of your prepaid expirations. I use nadanada only for the data esim myself. Also don't forget that you may want to burn your device sometimes.

what you mean by burning your device? 👀

reply

Get a fresh device, new esim, new mullvad account.

Back up old device (but you shouldn't have anything on there), wipe it, take it out into the yard, build a fire in a barrel, burn it.

Or I would just go back to nokia. 😂

I used to have only a Nokia for comms until late 2014, then I switched to smartphone+signal. Now I'm waiting for what the final state of numberless signal will be. If it's good I'll keep it, if not I will have to switch, problem being there's nothing I like.

You want to burn your nokias too, though. Or, you want to especially burn those. I don't know if these still exist but there used to be $30 ones made in the Indian branch that were good for this.

Isn't it a bit too paranoid? 😂

Depends on what kind of crap you pull out there.
